PodiumConnect (MK1 & MK2)
* Fix: GPS speed configured in kilometres per hour is now labelled "km/h" (the standard spelling used by other data systems and Podium) instead of "kph"; "kph" is still accepted from saved configs and older apps, and unit labels match regardless of case (All RaceCapture systems) * Fix: A speed, altitude or distance unit the firmware does not recognise now defaults to metric (km/h, m, km) instead of imperial; unit labels in a saved configuration are normalised the same way when the device boots (All RaceCapture systems) * Fix: Guard against system crash caused by invalid CAN bus index in Lua scripting * Fix: Improve BLE telemetry throughput by negotiating larger MTU payloads; log PHY updates (including 2M when supported by the client) * Fix: Log BLE client link capabilities including MTU, notification payload size, peer address, security state, and PHY * Fix: Adapt BLE telemetry sample rate when the sample queue backs up, preserving framed messages while reducing link pressure * Fix: Increase log buffer size and avoid duplicate newlines in formatted log messages (RaceCapture/Track MK4 & PodiumConnect/Micro) * Fix: Lua getChannel() can read 64 bit channels such as Utc, and number formatting handles 64 bit values (All RaceCapture systems) * Fix: Intermittent crash when switching to USB SD card mode (RaceCapture/Track MK4, PodiumConnect/Micro) * Fix: CAN bus errors when connected to a 1 Mbit/s bus on CAN1; center bit timing to be in spec (RaceCapture/Track MK4, PodiumConnect/Micro) * Fix: SD logging at high sample rates no longer drops samples while the card stalls on a write; showStats reports samples dropped (All systems with SD/Flash storage) * Fix: Prevent out of memory conditions from crashing system (RaceCapture/Track MK2-3, RaceCapture/Pro MK2-4, PodiumConnect MK1-2, RaceCapture/Apex) * Fix: Unplugging USB while the app is connected no longer hangs the device (RaceCapture/Track MK2-3, RaceCapture/Pro MK2-4, PodiumConnect MK1-2, RaceCapture/Apex) * Fix: The USB telemetry stream stops when the host disconnects, so the app reconnects cleanly instead of being flooded with samples (All RaceCapture systems) * Fix: The device no longer hangs when the host stops reading USB while telemetry is streaming, for example after force-quitting the app (RaceCapture/Track MK2-3, RaceCapture/Pro MK2-4, PodiumConnect MK1-2, RaceCapture/Apex) * Fix: A log file reopened after an SD write error, such as the card being removed and reinserted, is appended to instead of being overwritten from the start (RaceCapture/Track MK2-3, RaceCapture/Pro MK2-4, PodiumConnect MK1-2, RaceCapture/Apex) * Fix: A log file emptied by removing the card within a second of logging starting gets a new header when the card returns (All systems with SD/Flash storage) * Fix: Log files no longer end up 0 bytes after a power loss or crash; the file size is committed to the card on every periodic flush, and a log reopened after a write error is appended to instead of truncated (RaceCapture/Track MK4, PodiumConnect/Micro) * Fix: 25 Hz channels, including the IMU at its default rate, now update at 10 Hz on telemetry to Podium over WiFi and cellular instead of 5 Hz (All RaceCapture systems) * Fix: LapDelta, BestLap, Gsum, Driver ID, Heart Rate and TPMS channels set faster than every other channel are now logged at their configured rate (All RaceCapture systems)
